Cheers to 40 Years

Poetry, Fiction, Nonfiction

Interviewed by: Angela Elam, Rebekah Presson, Robert Stewart

Catalog Number: 20180427

We celebrate the New Year with a look back at our 40 years of broadcasting to gain wisdom from writers past and present. Our audio archives contain Pulitzer and Nobel Prize-winners, MacArthur Genius Fellows, and other notables, all reading from their own work and offering insight into their creative process. In this compilation program, we’ll learn the importance of specific language from the late U.S. Poet Laureate Richard Wilbur, hear a New Year’s poem from the Past American Voice of Michelle Boisseau, and listen to clips featuring some previous hosts of the show.
