D.S. Waldman lives on Kumeyaay land in San Diego, California, where he teaches creative writing. His work has appeared in Poetry Northwest, Copper Nickel, Poetry International, Los Angeles Review, Sugar House Review, and Tar River. In 2019 he received two Pushcart Prize nominations and was selected by Ishion Hutchinson as the winner of the Foothill Editors’ Prize. He is an M.F.A. candidate in creative writing at San Diego State University.
