Emily Anne Standlee is an emerging nonfiction writer and Durwood Scholar in the M.F.A. program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She co-produces the Fiction/Non/Fiction podcast at Literary Hub and serves as nonfiction editor at No. 1 Magazine. She lives in a 100-year-old Midtown apartment in Kansas City.
