Shubha Sunder’s stories and essays have appeared or are forthcoming in Catapult, SLICE, The Common, Michigan Quarterly Review, Crazyhorse, Narrative Magazine, and elsewhere, and have been shortlisted for The Best American Short Stories. In 2020 she was awarded a City of Boston Artist Fellowship. Other distinctions include a Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellowship, the Crazyhorse Fiction Prize, Narrative “30 Below,” and awards from the Bread Loaf and Sewanee Writers’ Conferences, and from The Corporation of Yaddo. She lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
