The author of four novels, Jo Ann Mapson's 1997 book, Loving Chloe, is a continuation of her first--the 1993 popular novel, Hank & Chloe. A writer of the New West, Mapson depicts, according to Publisher's Weekly, "a landscape rich in the ironies and ambiguities of contemporary America, where agriculture and ranching coexist uneasily with suburban sprawl."
